I took my wife out to lunch at her favorite restaurant. While we were out, I had arranged for our daughter to fill the living room with red roses and red streamers. When we got home, my wife had no idea anyone had been there because our children were not expected to come over until dinnertime. When my wife walked into the living room she just stopped suddenly in her tracks in complete surprise before she laughed and cried. A great result, well worth the planning.

I think that a good gift for this year would be a ring with three stones. The middle would be ruby and the other two are diamond.
