On our 25th wedding anniversary we reaffirmed our marriage vows. Instead of a duplicate of our original wedding vows, this time we wrote our own vows. The minister that married us was there to “officiate”. We invited the members of our original wedding party and many could come. Of course, our children were there! After we renewed our vows, we had champagne and many of our friends and family gave toasts. What a great day!

Our sons stayed with their friends for the weekend and we headed off for a bed & breakfast in the mountains! My husband gave me a very beautiful pair of silver earrings while we were drinking some wine under the stars with candlelight. What can I say? It was a perfect anniversary.
