My grandparents Grover and Ethel Heath of Talladega, Alabama will be celebrating their 78th anniversary on April 6, 2007.
Grover and Ethel were married on April 6, 1929.
We are planning a full day of surprises with a dinner, some gospel music, and a recognition from the Alabama governor and our Mayor.
We believe that they may be the longest married couple in the State of Alabama.
On their 75th anniversary our Mayor presented them with a proclamation honoring that April 6 would be Grover and Ethel Heath day and the state senator presented them with a resolution.
Grover and Ethel will share their special day with five children, 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren,and 17 great-great grandchildren.
