Why Take a Second Honeymoon?
Your second honeymoon is
more
important than the first!
Yes, a second honeymoon is more important then a first honeymoon. Just think of the pressure and planning your wedding and first honeymoon required. It was wonderful, yet incredibly stressful at the same time.
But now all that is behind you. Whether you have been married one year or 50 years - or any amount of time in between - now is the time to have a honeymoon you both can really enjoy. And a honeymoon now is more important than the first time around because you need to renew your love, rediscover why you were attracted to each other, and revel in the enjoyment you feel in just being together. Every day you take care of yourself and your family in so many ways. But do you take care of perhaps the most important relationship in your life? Often your busy life and myriad responsibilities get in the way. However, the commitment you have to each other is not static like a block of granite. It needs to be nurtured and tended to like a beautiful plant that will grow strong with proper care.
The very best way to do this is to have a second honeymoon. For a short time you get away from the responsibilities of your everyday life. You have the luxury of time on a second honeymoon. Time to talk to each other, time to make love, time to take a leisurely walk, time to laugh, and even time to waste time doing nothing! On a second honeymoon you will renew your commitment to each other. It is like putting money in a bank for a rainy day-surely the rain will come because that is a part of life. But you have strengthened your love for each other so you can get through the difficult times together.
A second honeymoon just might be one of the most important things you do for your spouse, for your children, and for yourself. |
